The Tempest
York Shakespeare Project was established in 2001 with the aim of performing all of Shakespeare’s known plays in York over a period of 20 years starting with Richard III which was staged in October 2002. The Tempest is the final play to be staged. and was performed in seven small venues in the towns and villages around York with the final performance being in York Theatre Royal on 1st October 2022.
